Roadside at the World Championships

It seems inappropriate to refer to the dust having settled on what was one of the wettest Road World Championships in recent memory in Yorkshire last week.

But with the racing now behind us, and with new champions crowned on Harrogate’s streets, we wanted to share some photographs from our time at the roadside.

Both riders and spectators braved horrendous conditions throughout the week, with only the women’s race playing out in anything like the weather that everyone had hoped for to show off God’s Own Country in all its glory.

Our plan was simple. Find a spot on the finishing circuit to park our van, fly our flag and watch the racing.

Below is a series of images from our trip.
