Dispatches from the mountains of Mid Wales
07 30 20These valleys are where the Albion story began.
Remote mountain roads.
Short, steep, punishing climbs.
All four seasons in a day.
Last week we headed back to Mid Wales, to ride what we think is the best 100 mile route in Britain.
After a strange few months, it felt good to be in the wilderness again.
Rupert, the man behind the Albion lens, took a camera with him in a bar bag on the rides.
His photos from the trip are below.
We’ve also put together three ride options for the area that start and finish in the market town of Rhayader, which serves as a natural start / end point for exploring these incredible roads.
