Albion x Beak – Daytripping

The next instalment of our Daytripping series is on the way, and to celebrate we’ve teamed up with our friends Beak Brewery in Lewes to bring you a long weekend of riding, beers and good times.

On Thursday 31st of March we’re having a party at Little Faith in Deptford, London, where we will premiere our new film Daytripping: Wales in a Day and launch ‘Spin’, a collaboration beer with Beak.

Albion presents Daytripping: Wales in a Day with Beak Brewery

Wales in a Day is the second installment of our Daytripping series, and follows four friends as they set out to ride the length of Wales in a day, from Bristol to Llandudno, a 320km ride with over 6000m of climbing.

On the night we’ll premiere the film, there will be our Albion x Beak Spin IPA on draught, as well as a showcase on tap of some of the other fantastic beers from the mighty Beak.

On Saturday 2nd April we’re going Daytripping to Beak.

We’ve created two routes from London to the Beak Brewery in Lewes, Sussex and we’re gonna ride down there for some beers, food, and a screening of Daytripping: Wales in a Day.

The rides will be self-supported, with a 90km route option or a 160km option starting at Four Boroughs in Crystal Palace and finishing at the Beak Brewery in Lewes. You can start whenever you like, the plan is to be at Beak by about 4pm for beers, food and screening of Daytripping: Wales in a Day.

(To get home, there are two direct trains every hour from Lewes to London Victoria (00:27 and 00:57 mins past the hour) with the last direct train leaving at 22:27.)

We’ve set up the two rides on our Strava Club page – 90km and 160km – with information about both routes for people to join and make plans for the ride. The routes can also be downloaded via Komoot above. These rides are unsupported, you’ll need the route on a GPS device and you can ride in your own groups and at a pace that is comfortable for you.
