Albion’s Spring/Summer 2019 range is inspired by colours found on Britain’s coastline, and is designed for long rides on the warmest days.

Our short sleeve jersey has been updated for this season, and we’ve introduced three new colourways – Green, Khaki, and Deep Blue.

Made using an innovative high stretch, breathable, moisture wicking performance fabric and with mesh side panels for additional temperature management, laser cut sleeves, and a YKK reverse coil zip, our short sleeve jersey is designed for comfort and performance when riding in warm weather conditions.

Bib shorts are a staple of any cyclist’s summer wardrobe, and we are proud to say that ours received industry recognition at the end of last year when they were chosen by Cycling Weekly in their 2018 Editor’s Choice awards, one of only 11 pieces of clothing to be picked.

Constructed using premium fabric from the legendary M.I.T.I., and with chamois technology from Elastic Interface’s ultra range of premium high density foam pads for long distance riding, our bib shorts utilise a reduced panel, anatomical design with compression fit to deliver comfort and performance for your longest days in the saddle.

We’ve updated our lightweight gilet for 2019 with the addition of mesh side panels to increase breathability and fit. Using Japanese fabric technology, the Albion gilet is a windproof and water resistant lightweight outer layer which packs down easily into a jersey pocket, making it an ideal piece to go with you on long days when altitude and conditions can change quickly.

To put the new range through its paces, we headed to Cornwall for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Blessed with brilliant sunshine, British holiday makers were out in force on the beaches and the area’s undulating and often brutally steep coastal roads provided the ideal test of legs and kit.
